Avoid this product unless you plan to replace it every two weeks. This refill has been modified from the original version that has been around for many years. The original had a rough cleaning surface bonded to the sponge and was very durable. This iteration replaces the associated scrubbers with strands of microfiber attached to a mesh attached to the sponge. The problem is that when you wring out the mop, the mesh separates from the sponge and the sponge falls apart. In just over a week (remember we don't use harsh chemicals, constantly pull the release lever, or soak the sponge) it will fall apart! I bought two O Cedar mops (with replacement heads included) from Costco and they all failed the same way - I bought this replacement head from Revain hoping to get the original replacement head and this updated piece of junk . Stay away from it or try the O Cedar Wood Matic Sponge - the sponge has no chafing ridges but doesn't look like it's going to fall apart (fingers crossed).
