Like the other reviewer I bought this for the Dell D430 which is an older computer but a small size good for travel. Installation was easy and I'm very happy with the speed increase. You should disable prefetch and follow good instructions online to get the most out of your SSD. For the most part Windows 7 made every change except Super & Pre Fetch. Satisfied so far, but don't expect a lot of instructions in the box. I didn't have the option to clone the drive in one go - so I cloned the original drive to a USB drive, installed this SSD and cloned it from the USB.
