Recommend 10/10.We had a hoot celebrating my dad’s 60th. He was so surprised by the candles relighting and by the third time he put them out he caught on and was having a hoot himself. We could not stop laughing and created some amazing footage/memories to enjoy for years to come. Got a hilarious video of my friend trying to blow these out. I will say, we put too many trick candles on the cake. It caused a lot of smoke, but no damage was done. Definitely recommend for an easy laugh for a birthday.

My son has wanted trick candles on his cake for years, but I'd had a hard time finding ones that would actually relight. These worked great! He would blow them out and they would immediately relight. The only way to actually put them out was to put them in water. They were a big hit! Highly recommend!

Out of the 8 candles we lit, only 3 of them would relight. The kids still loved it and it took many tries to get those three to finally extinguish but it is still a little upsetting that most of them did not work. I won't be ordering this brand again.

I "fired up" a test one before people came and was really disappointed that it didn't relight. Learned that it has to burn for about a minute to be able to relight consistently. Just make sure you really drag out singing happy birthday and that should be enough time!

I wanted trick candles like I had as a child. Well, these were definitely tricky! Our 8-year-old’s cake was a fiery mess at one point and smoke was everywhere by the end. Mind you there were only eight candles on the cake. We weren’t sure if the candles were ever going to stop relighting. Took a video and it was well over 3 minutes long. I used this for an object lesson on the love of God. The children had such fun trying to blow out the candles, and it taught them that God's love can't be extinguished.

These worked great! You need to leave them lit for about 30-60 seconds & then they work. Left some residue on the cake, looks more like pencil shavings.

Just as you would expect, there was a little bit of sparking which gave away that they were "different". For pranking purposes, try telling them you got "sparkling" candles and watch as they struggle to blow them out!For my prank, they tried over and over to blow them out but to no avail! These things are perfect! Trick candles are supposed to be tricky and these certainly are. Five year old boys will be entertained for 10 minutes guaranteed. What other product can claim that.You will want to spread them out so it doesn’t start a small campfire. We put 5 on one cookie and we did start a slightly larger fire than intended but it was nice. Perhaps we should have roasted a couple marshmallows?!Just buy them already!

These candles are a fire hazard. I put them in my daughters cake. I was only able to light about 4 or 5. They started sparking and making loud noises. The cake topper caught on fire. My daughter who is 15 was scared. I can only imagine how a yonger child would respond. I do not recommend this product. I would have given it no stars if I could.

They worked like a charm. It was the first time I've tried them and it was really funny. They do make a lot of smoke when you blow them out but it's totally worth it.

We purchased them well ahead of our grandson's 9th birthday, celebrated today, because nobody around here had them. The candles all blew out, and stayed out, on his 4th? try.

So fun! Didn’t get pictures… but have a glass of water nearby to extinguish! Because they will keep relighting and don’t stop! The kids really got a kick out of watching the birthday boy keep trying to blow them out!

The candles seemed fine. At the moment of use they wouldn’t lite up, they did not even create that "magic relighting”. Not of my satisfaction.

These candles are so short and burned so fast that there was a HUGE risk of either getting wax on the cake or burning your fingers trying to take them off. Only put a few on at a time and only light them a few seconds before the guest is ready to try blowing them out. Don't bury them too deep in the cake, and have tweezers ready to grab them quickly. They spark pretty noticeably too, so anyone familiar with trick candles will know immediately what's happening before it happens. Not saying…

It takes a second to relight but once it starts, it just keeps going. So fun for my son; he couldn’t figure out how it was magically relighting by itself!
