It might be useful to compare side by side with the Buttkicker Concert Mini which as far as I can tell is the same as the driver in the Buttkicker Gamer 2. I have run them with the same amp with the same settings from Simhub to compare them side-by-side. Pros: - You don't overheat. You can take them to the point where they seem to be doing their best without peaking at certain frequencies, and yes, they do get a little warm, but don't melt. - the mounting surface is flat and long. because you have the space, very easy to assemble - cheap! - Sufficient response for cornering, at least in my setup. - As far as I can tell, it doesn't have serious problems with piston knock in a certain frequency range. That's either good or the volume is too loud, unlike the BK, which can be frustrating because you have to tune the amp to avoid piston banging at low frequencies, and still turn the volume down where it's much more effective is (or 20-30 Hertz). a little) Cons: - doesn't have as deep a resonance as the BC is capable of. The BK hum you can get at low revs is excellent, but I got it from working hard in the 20-30Hz range and that's what makes the BK overheat. so I can't give BK a complete win here. Overall I think this is a product that "just works". It's not the best answer available, but it's easy to type and enjoy for hours.
