Spend the extra money and buy a better kit
When I first got it the cables were too short for installation. Then the Bluetooth signal was very weak after connecting, I could only turn the light on and off with my cell phone when I was standing in front of the truck. And yet, in most cases, it failed to connect. After about 2 months the light did not come on at all, I checked all the wiring, everything is fine, only the controller failed. I will definitely not buy again and will not recommend it to anyone.
