Review on Columbia TurboDown Hooded Jacket for Men - Voodoo Falls 590 by Ricky Mills

The fit is decent. At 6ft tall, weighing 160lbs and with a slim build, the SMALL fits well. Cuffs and neckline are a bit loose. I wish the elastic was tighter on the cuffs. The isolation is somewhat misleading. This jacket is marketed as "590 Turbodown". This means that the insulation is 15% down and 85% polyester. Based on the feel of the jacket, I would guess a down density of 590 units. This shift in poly and down fill means the jacket is heavier than a 590 fill power 100% down jacket. Omnidirectional warmth keeps warmth close to the body. But I also feel like it sticks to my hands. I only wear this jacket with a long sleeve shirt underneath.
