This is the perfect preschool backpack for my 2 year old. We have the smaller size from the listing. My daughter is small for her age and I was so glad it fit her. Padded shoulder straps add comfort and a chest clip keeps it on her comfortably. It *barely* fits in a standard sized binder and zips (the corners had to be bent slightly to fit the curved top of the bag). But it has enough space for everything she needs to take with her from preschool and kindergarten. We have straps that fit snugly around her to fit her so they fit older toddlers too. School-age kids will want to use the larger size to make it easier to fit a few standard-sized folders and notepads inside.
