When I'm with friends, some of them usually leave garbage in my car. For example receipts, empty bottles and food packaging. They usually left them either on the doorknob or in a side compartment on the door. Got this so I could have a trash can in my car hoping they would leave it here instead. The box itself is pretty solid once you have the bottom panel installed. and the lid is flexible enough to easily throw stuff in, but also flexible enough to return to its original shape. So if you have something that smells a little, hopefully the smell won't come out too strong. My only complaint is that in the picture you can attach a tissue box just under this garbage bag and although there is a flexible strap on it for that, if you are using a sedan this tissue box is more likely to hit someone sitting behind the seat, where you installed it. I tried it and it made it difficult for me to get in and out. So I decided to remove the tissue box. I think if the bag was a little shorter it would be perfect.
