I have a 2019 Lexus RX 450hL. I needed a small trash can that would fit in the passenger compartment. This is great as it has a small clip that slides right into the storage compartment to the left of the passenger seat. It's very small, but it's serviceable - grab a few small liners for easy cleaning. The plastic is black and fairly durable. I always update my reviews when new information seems useful.

I've had a hard time finding something for scrap cars that doesn't take up a lot of space and isn't cheap. I've tried another type, hard plastic, and nothing seems to break. It is made of durable plastic, which is firm but has some deformation so that it is not easy to break. The size is pretty good. My only complaint is that the clip doesn't hold it too well in my seatback pocket.

So far I'm very happy! It was difficult for me to collect all the rubbish in the car, but it works very well. It slid smoothly into the seat pocket. To be honest, no one rode in the back seat from this side. I ride the Escape so I would imagine if an adult were there their knees would smack it (but it's easy to take off for solo riders). A child in a booster seat would probably be fine.

I was looking for the perfect trash can for my GMC Terrain. I've tried bags that attach to the headrest with Velcro, or a basket that just sits on the floor, but none of them have worked. Velcro pockets are difficult to reach from the front seats as they attach to the headrest facing backwards and simply tip over the floor baskets. It fits over the edge of the passenger (front) side of the console and stays there until I remove it to empty it. And it doesn't bother the legs. Ideal!

I wasn't sure if it would work but it turned out perfect for my needs. I don't use it in the car. I have a cart for my sterile dry needles that uses a metal organizer. This mini trash can slides perfectly over the organizer's metal sides and is in the right place to collect used cotton balls, needle guide tubes, foreign plastic and paper. I pop out immediately after each patient to ease emptying so unsightly debris doesn't build up. I'm glad I took the risk and bought it.

I bought this to use in a 2021 Subaru Ascent. I was hoping it would attach to the passenger door, but it's too big and the door won't close when installed. Guilty. When buying, the size had to be considered. However, I will still use it on the back of my passenger seat, clipped to my back pocket. It's very strong and the clip is strong too. I bought one of these for my new car. I installed it on the driver's door first, but it interfered with the seat adjustment and couldn't move forward on the door. I moved it to the passenger side and it works great! It doesn't bang on the seat and doesn't affect legroom at all.
