Review on 🚜 Peg Perego John Deere Tractor Trailer by Micheal Looney

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Don't disappoint your child.

This tractor has only one wheel drive, which means that when the child pedals, one rear wheel moves and the other three wheels have to move because one of them propels it forward. Tricycles work this way because the drive wheel is in the middle. There's a reason cars come with either two or four wheels. Think of canoeing: you paddle both ways equally, if you don't want to tack you just paddle one way and go the other. One-wheel drive causes 2 problems: 1. The tractor pulls sideways. The Peg Perego support says the child may steer differently to compensate. Yes, that's right.2. When the cheap plastic tire of a single wheel attached to a pedal slides across grass, carpet, or a slick floor, the child has nowhere to go. anything that helps me. Not what I expected from this brand. Also, attempting to assemble the trailer required brute force to insert plastic pins into the slots. The instructions are poorly laid out with multiple pages separating images from the written instructions. Don't waste your money; My son enjoys the box it came in more than the tractor.
