I bought this for a crazy reason I guess.whenever our heat or air would cut on it sounded like something was rattling in the air ducts. My husband didn't want to have someone come check it out, and I could only see so much down the vents with a flashlight. I ordered this product so I could take a look in my air ducts and see what was going on and driving me crazy. Anyway, on to the product.I really like the hard carrying case it comes in because we are rough on tools in my house! The scope is well lit and you can adjust the brightness. The monitor is small, but good enough quality for me to see clearly. Scopes with larger monitors cost a lot more. I like that I can take pictures or record because we do a lot of our own repair work - it would have been nice to have this when I took my dryer almost all the way apart and still couldn't see inside the back! After checking down quite a few vents I found the culprit. My niece apparently spilled a ton of her bead collection down the vent and they were rolling around when the air was circulating! Without this scope I would not have located the problem, and been able to get those beads out!
