Review on TinyRigs Osmopocket Pocketable Compact Controller by Robert Viher

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A great all-in-one case for the DJI Osmo Pocket, with a few caveats.

I bought the tinyRigs Osmopocket because I didn't want to carry the Osmo Pocket without the filters I carry. In this case I can carry the filters, steering wheel and WiFi module all together. While offering more space than an OEM case, it's slightly wider and longer, supporting a pocket-sized carrying solution for anything you might need. The filter slots are on each side of the inside of the case, and the notch for the controller wheel is on the back of the case. When storing the Osmo Pocket, you must attach the Wi-Fi module to the Osmo to fit in the pocket. This allows you to easily transport and store all the items you need, and you can even charge the Osmo Pocket through the back of the case via a connected WiFi module. A few caveats: 1. You should keep a small cleaning cloth in the case as the filter slots are very narrow. After removing the filter from the slot, you need to wipe the filter. While I like how tight the filters are in the housing, they are difficult to remove without dirtying them.2. If you take out Osmo Pocket and don't need the Wi-Fi adapter, the adapter will not stay in the case and may fall out. This happened to me and I ended up buying another adapter because it fell out during a bag check at an airport security checkpoint when the Osmo Pocket was kept in its original original packaging. with all filter control wheels and Wi-Fi module in one housing. It also makes storage easy!
