This is the second Soaiy Aurora Night Light I have purchased, the last one was purchased in July 2018. The first lasted until the day I bought the second, June 26th. The first one didn't work like it did when it arrived, the green LEDs stopped working and the spinning disc stopped spinning about two months ago, but the little one still loves it so I decided to get her a new one. I suspect it wasn't primarily due to mechanical issues, but rather the frequent storms that came through my child's room. One hour of gameplay and you think the hurricane is over. Several times I found a night light on the floor. This new model does exactly the same as the old one, with one major improvement - the lights turn off automatically after 1 hour. That's a nice feature that I'd like to see in the old one. Most of the night she sleeps long until the hour is up, even if it isn't she can just press the button to start another hourly cycle, but ultimately I know it's not all night and will work all day. No problem buying another one or recommending it to others looking for something similar.
