My previous loops were pretty bad, probably due to overuse and stress. Bought it as a simple and cheap replacement. I wasn't expecting the little hinged thing to help them stay open and closed. It was a pleasant surprise. They stick out a little further than my previous hinges, but that's good because they cover the old screw holes and don't need to be reused. One thing to note when installing is when you line up the door to screw the hinges into the wall unit I had to give a good tap so the hinges would fall flat and they would pop out a few millimeters. So they weren't very easy to install and I had to redo a pair because they kept splaying back to their original position. But if you're thinking of flattening the hinge and want it to stay straight, installation is a breeze.
