I was hoping to use this on my french doors. Installation was rough. If the screws were not perfectly lined up, it will not lay flat in the plate and interferes with the plates going over each other. I did not use the adhesion and don't want to. I am guessing because of the weight of the doors, the plates were not strong enough to really grab. I just installed using the adhesive onto a small wooden door, which had an old magnetic attachment that was not holding well. It seems to be holding the door shut. It comes with 5 small screws in case you don’t want to use the adhesive. My main problem with the adhesive is that it was sticking to my fingers, and I had to be careful to make it stick to the magnetic plates, and not my fingers. I had to buy two of these because the adhesive is easily destroyed by touching it. But also only after a few uses on my filing cabinet one has fallen off and the other is not far behind.

Our kitchen cabinet with trash bins would not stay closed and would roll open about a inch after closing it. I needed a thin, strong magnet for this application and this product fit the need exactly. The cabinet door was secured with a steel frame so I only needed the magnet piece, not the steel plate that comes in the package. I tried installing these on a bathroom drawer that won't stay closed. The adhesive only worked for a while, then would no longer hold to the drawer frame. The only way I can get these to work properly is to drill and secure the magnet half with screws to the drawer frame; the adhesive is not good. Otherwise, it's a good product. As a matter of fact, it's the only solution that actually works.

My overpriced dresser had a drawer that refused to stay closed. It would pop right back open whenever I closed it or any of the other dresser drawers. Just received these today. Used them on a cabinet drawer that wouldn't stay closed. The adhesive is strong. Did not have to use the little screws that came with it yet, but at least I have them in case it weakens over time. Highly recommend these drawer/cabinet magnets!

The magnet size was just what we needed, but the stickers aren't worth the aggravation. They hold the magnet for about 1-2 days. When you start using the magnet for what it was intended (to keep a cabinet door closed) it loses its adhesiveness and then the magnet falls off. Ending up using my glue gun to put them in place.

Adhesive works well and magnets are strong. Don't use the screws! I used pilot holes for the screws and the heads snapped off with very little torque applied.

I used the magnetic closure for a much-used cabinet that just wouldn't close all the way any more. Initially, I used the adhesive tape to put it on the cabinet, but within a day or two, it came loose, so I used the screws that came with the magnets. It is just what I needed. The double side adhesive was not double sided. The screws were very cheap, so I ended up using my own double sided adhesive.

I bought for use in two locations. The adhesive and magnetic works very well on a cabinet door setting. When used on a door, the result is not quite as good. It’s helps some to keep the door closed but the weight of the door can still push open slightly.

I used these magnets to keep our built in trash can drawer completely closed so our puppy wouldn’t be able to get into the trash. Very easy installation with the exception of peeling off the film on the adhesive (That took a bit of patience). I do like the fact that the magnets can be installed without nailing anything into my woodwork, that’s why I opted for these magnets. We have a 2-tiered utensil drawer with the everyday knives, forks and spoons on the top tier.Whenever we opened the drawer the top tier would not open with the bottom tier. This added another step, to reach in and pull the top tier out. A minor inconvenience, but still it bothered me.
