This light is so great - could be a tad brighter, but is perfect for a closet. I have it in my basement closet, and when I open the door to access the shelves, all of a sudden all the shelves are lit up!. It is SO easy to install - just put the magnetic sticky strip on the wall, and then the light attaches itself to it. Easily remove to charge the light via a USB cord. Will be getting more for the rest of the closets!

As far as the quality of light produced is concerned, this product is fine. It illuminates a pitch dark closet just fine. Battery life also seems decent. However, the motion detection feature leaves quite a bit to be desired. I had to recharge the light shortly after the initial charge and installation. I thought that was odd and rather inconvenient. I bought 4 of these for a birthday gift, unfortunately I have to send them all back because the motion sensor does not detect motion. I bought specifically for under cabinet and inside wardrobe closet, but was unsuccessful in getting the motion sensor to detect me. The brightness, size of bar, and installation "if it had been installed" were all great, just the fact that the motion sensor didn't work is only reason I am returning and looking for an alternative product that works as advertised.

Used this at the top of basement stairs in my daughter's rental because the only light was at the bottom of the stairs. It did the trick. Her basement stairs have stairs above going to second floor and so I hung it under the above steps about three steps down from top. It lights the way now on all the steps that were dark.The sensor works pretty well. The timer is great and the different settings of light are great too. All in all a good deal.

DO NOT BUY. it just went out this past week. I purchased 2 for my pantry. And the second one came in and didn’t work. They were nice to exchange immediately. But here now a week ago,one of them doesn’t turn on.They worked so well that I’d only charge them every 2 weeks overnight. This one doesn’t come on the same day I took it off the charger. Such a great light! I installed this under the cabinet in my upstairs hallway. I had to do a little adjusting to make the motion sensor work (after realizing it was totally my error) and it’s great! Now I don’t have to leave a night light on for my kids, this automatically comes on. I love that you can change the brightness so that it’s not always bright white like most light bars. I’ll be buying more to install in my kitchen and other hallway cabinets.

I originally bought this to be an under the counter motion light for my daughter's bathroom. However, this light was much bigger and brighter than I had anticipated and ended up using it in my kitchen. This item tries to be smart by only turning on when dark. However, what it considers "dark" is too dark. It only turns on if none of the other lights in the room are on, which makes it useless for supplementing poor lighting conditions. This might work fine where it is the only light.The brightness is mediocre at best.Be careful installing: the adhesive on the magnetic strip will take your paint with it if you try to reposition. Get it right the first time.

I love it. It’s easy to install. It works like it says. So easy to see in my closet now that the landlord decided not to put a light in the closet.

When coming across this item, I was really excited about the motion sensor. When the light arrived I was really impressed with the brightness of it. I was really disappointed the motion sensor was not functioning. My daughter will not take the time to turn it on to see inside her closet.
