The motion detector is not great.
This item tries to be smart by only turning on when dark. However, what it considers "dark" is too dark. It only turns on if none of the other lights in the room are on, which makes it useless for supplementing poor lighting conditions. This might work fine where it is the only light.The brightness is mediocre at best.Be careful installing: the adhesive on the magnetic strip will take your paint with it if you try to reposition. Get it right the first time.
