As far as the quality of light produced is concerned, this product is fine. It illuminates a pitch dark closet just fine. Battery life also seems decent. However, the motion detection feature leaves quite a bit to be desired. I had to recharge the light shortly after the initial charge and installation. I thought that was odd and rather inconvenient. However, I noticed the next day that light was visible underneath the door. The sensor was seeing motion that was not there and activating at random, draining the battery. The detector also fails to notice when there is actual motion and on numerous occasions, it has gone dark on me while still hanging clothes. I've resorted to manually turning the light on and off.
