The bags appear to be well made and quite large as described. I was looking for large pockets for this delicate sweater or other washable items and putting it in a bag would be helpful. As other reviewers point out, these bags are quite scratchy and rough. Not sure why the manufacturer designed bags this way, after all the purpose of bags in general is to protect fragile items. Everything else seems fine - zips and other aspects of the design. I even tried washing them in warm water and tumble drying them to see if the "glue" (which would soften them) would come off. This washing and drying didn't seem to do anything. In any case, I keep them because it's very difficult to find big bags; However, I plan to only use them with "less delicate" items due to their roughness. I would NOT use them with nylons, anything that tends to pill, or anything that tends to stretch like knitted sweatshirts or jackets. Not as helpful to me as if they were softer, but at least it's an option.
