First a caveat - this monitor is only VGA. Don't expect any other connection. With that in mind, the monitor is great for the project I need it for. My daughter wanted to build a slot machine with a bar. I designed the bar cabinet around the monitor and it works fantastic. It turned out so well my son wants to build a slot machine too. People suggest only using 4:3 aspect ratio monitors for arcade machines, but they are hard to find and more expensive. It worked well enough and looks good. This helped keep the total cost of the project under $250.
