Review on PPD Inkjet Matt Self-Adhesive White Vinyl Sticker Paper 🖨️ - Premium Commercial Grade, Tear-Proof - A4 Size, 20 Sheets (PPD-38-20) by Dawn Fischer

This has been my favorite vinyl decal for many years. I use it for stickers that I sell in my Etsy shop and I've bought them in bulk from a supplier and also in small quantities from Revain. After perfecting my process, I've always had great results. But without any warning, the paper has completely changed since the last purchase and now only gives me problems. The only noticeable difference BEFORE printing is that the paper backing of the vinyl has a gloss and not just matte paper. This is probably a technical improvement, but not what interests me. The printable surface itself looks slightly different but feels the same. Problems start after printing on vinyl. The ink looks more saturated now so I had to change the print settings (not that hard) but more importantly the sealant I use no longer works on this paper. It doesn't stick the same, the application looks very uneven and something about the paper prevents the seal from looking glossy (I use a matte vinyl with a glossy seal to create a gloss that looks like professional photo paper). Now you'll probably have to experiment with different sealants, but I've done this before when I started my decal business and I'm holding out my hopes. Also, I currently can't afford to waste paper on something like this (I'm already wasting a lot of it since they changed the product). dissatisfied.
