This is an amazingly accurate scale. One way I keep track of my chronic health condition is my daily weight fluctuations, so it's very important to me that my bathroom scale is accurate to the tenth of a pound. When my previous scale died, I tried several weights under $100 and was disappointed to find that the standard specs at this price point include deviations of up to 5 pounds, which is completely useless for people like me who are smaller in stature or athletes who monitor carefully is her weight. I was about to give up and spend a lot of money to get what I needed before I saw the customer reviews of this model. I was skeptical for the price, but after a week of use and testing with commercial weights of different sizes, I'm very satisfied. Another note: I have a very small master bathroom and need to store this scale when not in use; I store it flat and lift/place it carefully and so far it hasn't had to be calibrated, although the user manual says you may need to calibrate it if you move it and tells you how.
