Both broke after a week
The strap holds the ceiling mount very well. I found out about this when I had to take the first one off because one of the tabs holding the camera broke and the camera fell out. Replaced it with a second one and the same thing. Broken tongue, dangling camera. I taped the camera to the mount and it held it in place instead of pulling another one off the ceiling. All of this happened in the first week.
