Review on Brieftons Borosilicate Glass Water Bottles by Mike Nix

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good buy, they feel solid!

I'm switching to glass containers instead of plastic and needed a few bottles to keep water in my truck at work. I decided that. They feel like I can drop them and they will survive, but they are not willing to test it just to test it. There is a debate about recycling borosilicate glass. etc. I plan to use them until they break, which will hopefully be ten+ years from now. That makes up for the mountain of plastic I used, most of which gets buried anyway because the US recycling system is struggling. Between using LESS and RECYCLING, using less reduces the total amount of waste that needs to be disposed of anyway. Although I wish they were bigger, like 1 liter, at these sizes you have to buy them separately. So I chose a smaller size but a set. It's like a starter kit for me. They are snug in the hand and the lid seals the contents well as the water tried to evaporate but condensed in the air gap at the top of the bottle. I'll definitely have to watch them expand the ice in the winter as they freeze, but for the summer I'm happy with them so far. The neck of the bottle is larger than regular water bottles, which is nice. Switch to big bottles, they're working great for now. I plan to try juicing so that in the future it can be converted from a water tank to a juice bottle at home.
