Comfort is best. Let's start with the fact that I have a wide foot and add some bone issues. The shoe's elasticated mesh conforms to my odd feet and provides a very comfortable fit throughout the day. Secondly, I still have an old model of this shoe with a soft heel but with a tongue that allows for quick putting on. The new shoe has a tongueless, hardened rubber heel that is a bit more difficult to put on, but offers significantly more walking comfort. Great shoes, highly recommend. And, oh yes, they look really good!
