Tell us about the incredible find! I tried them in the Try Before You Buy program because I am a person who has a hard time getting fit. I have different foot lengths (by half an inch) and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit me. I tried them because I knew they were a good brand and the photos also looked like they might match. A pair of Skechers didn't fit. I requested a refund and made a refund within the time limit given. The original FootwearPro seller said I did not return the correct pair of shoes and therefore received no refund other than a $0.01 deposit on my card. This is not possible as it was the only pair of black velcro shoes I had. Instead of sending the shoes back I should have taken them to Skechers and never contacted Footwear Pro. I doubt I'll even buy Skechers unless that gets fixed.

I love the Skechers Men's Afterburn sneakers! These are my favorite shoes for everything from running errands to working out. I can't tie my shoelaces because of my cerebral palsy, and not many shoe companies make sneakers with Velcro. Skechers is one of the few brands that does this and I'm very grateful for that. Afterburns are comfortable, stylish and a great fit. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good pair of velcro sneakers. Thank you Skechers!

Great shoes for the money. These shoes fit my husband perfectly. Due to his diabetes and previous leg injuries, we usually have to go to a specialty store to find his shoes. It's almost half the price of the shoes he buys in these stores and they fit great and are very comfortable.

I'm picky about shoes. Tried this model for the first time. The inside of the shoe is destroyed. The insole creases when walking. I have other wonderful sketchers.

I just received the shoes and they fit just right. I just wish it had removable insoles. I use custom orthopedic insoles and wanted the velcro to fit in easily. The insoles take up some space so they're a little tight with my orthotics, but they're ok. I will keep them. I love Sketcher's shoes and have been buying them for years. However, this is the first Velcro version I've bought.

More expensive than the cheap Big Five I've used in the past; but it's worth it! It's a more durable shoe, it supports my feet better and is finally ok.

It is difficult for a person with swelling in their feet to find suitable shoes. That's good, but there are a few things that could be improved. 1) Velcro - extend the velcro on both sides to accommodate adjustment due to swelling. So I haven't been able to use the 2nd velcro for a few days because it doesn't reach to the fixation. Loved how easy it is to put on and the velcro allows you to close it quickly but still looks sporty! We especially liked the space in the shoe for the foot, which hardly fits in any other shoe.

Kinda well designed. The eyelets that the Velcro straps go through on the other side of the shoe are metal, which my husband says is built for durability. The upper eyelets interfered with the top of his foot. He cut out some sticky pieces of foam to cover the steel grommets. Maybe it's his legs, who knows. But he doesn't like messing with his shoelaces anymore.

I have carpal tunnel and find it difficult to tie my shoelaces. This is the perfect solution. Easy on/off; very comfortable and I can use my custom orthopedic insoles. Excellent quality shoes!

I love these shoes. I don't know anyone but these fit me well. I just received them so I don't know how long they will last but: they are comfortable and the sole is as advertised. I'll buy a few more pairs, probably today.

I bought these for my grandfather who has dementia. He likes Velcro. It is easier for him to put his shoes on without tying them. A great result and in his opinion the best shoes!

I ordered new shoes not returned, I didn't have the manufacturer's warranty card and everything that comes with the Sketcher shoes, I should have known better not to trust you.

These shoes rub a little on the heels, causing blisters. I think it's due to a work stoppage. Nothing serious. Overall a good comfortable shoe.

I wear them about two hours a day (TV) and after 6 months the sole on my right shoe is falling off! Is there a guarantee for these shoes? I no longer buy meters.

Comfortable shoes that look and fit as expected. Disappointed with the quality of the material. Velcro fasteners quickly broke through the metal loops.

My husband wears size 13 shoes (4 times wider) and they fit him perfectly. Many wide shoes are not as wide at the toe as others, but this shoe is. He likes the black color, low profile and 2 straps with comfortable Velcro closures. He wanted tennis shoes that would work in the garden and hold up well. He's pretty rough with shoes, but these seem to get the job done. Will definitely be ordering more of these in the future.

I tried medium width instead of X-Wide and they fit snug but comfortably. Like my other memory foam sketchers, I find that they loosen up a bit over time. Good walking shoes.
