I've seen things like this before but never seen. You could probably make your own from tree scraps. But this thing is pretty slick and seems well made - the only criticism I could have is that it only has two holes to attach it to the wall/stands. I wish there were more if there were four, but I think you can easily manage the weight and handle it as needed. In fact, it's not that hard to pull it out as long as it's attached to the studs and the downward weight is pressing it against the drywall. This is great for battery organization - I have about 8 for some B&D devices so along with the charging cables it's a mess. My garage is a complete disaster, but this actually kicks it up a few notches. In fact, there's nothing complicated about this item - it's all one piece of black metal with slots for hanging four power tools and holes around it for bonus items. Its length is pretty much 16 inches, so you can hit two studs. It has a ledge in the top storage but for some reason I didn't put it on the sides so things could fall in there. In general I like it very much. Maybe a bit pricey but I'm not complaining.
