Let me start by saying that I have had 7 diagnostic readers in the last ten years and this is by far the best. The big screen and LONG cable are some of its best features.! Subaru hides its diagnostic connector pretty deep under the dash and that long cable comes in very handy! Plug in the sensor, turn the key and Launch comes to life. The PDA boots up in remarkable time and gives you all the essential options like code reading, freeze frame data search, live data feed, etc. I'll even tell you if the car has passed emissions testing! While my Subaru had no engine codes or freeze frame data, the live data feed was very impressive. My machine supports CAN bus, so the variables are updated fairly quickly. I was very impressed with the refresh rate and even more so with how many options you can change. For the very affordable price of this device, you get an almost professional solution. Like most professional devices, the case is even covered with rubber to prevent damage in unforeseen situations. Probably each of us has a story about how we left the code reader on the roof of the car. A barge has as good a chance as any to survive and get back to business! All of my reviews include a product suggestion and this is no different. This device is 99% perfect. My only suggestion is that they illuminate the keyboard. When recording data in a car at night, the buttons are difficult to see. It should be noted that the buttons are quite large, they can be operated very well by touch!
