Review on 🔪 GBC Paper Shredder EX12-05 (1757390): Efficient, Super Cross-Cut, 12 Sheet Capacity for Personal Use, Black/Silver by James Arellano

This shredder only gets 2 stars because I don't have to sit and pick out all the staples and paper clips. Otherwise I would have given 1 star. It has a very small bin that needs to be emptied every few minutes when shredding large amounts of paper. It's time consuming and messy. Tiny notes and dust are flying everywhere. Prepare to have a broom and dustpan nearby. This slows down the work enormously with only 6-7 sheets at a time. (Does the manual say it can run 12?) I had a box full of old papers that needed shredding. It just stopped after 15 minutes. The temperature light came on. It took about half an hour for the lights to go out? I started hacking again and the red light came on again after about 6 minutes (yes I timed it). It also smelled like burnt plastic. That's a little annoying. I'm glad I got it on a discounted offer for just $52.12. I would be very disappointed if I paid the regular price for it! Actually I'm disappointed.
