I think it's a shame

I used to buy a Samsung BD-C6500 and right from the start I only had problems with both (I changed the first one at Samsung's request). walk. Same story, just 6 months late. It's been AWESOME for the last 6 months. I decided to give Samsung a second chance for my second player as it is Samsung, a company that has very strong roots in the home entertainment industry. Well about 3 weeks ago I turn it on to watch a movie in bed (I treated myself to an Oppo for the living room) and it never gets past the loading screen. I went through all the usual processes before realizing I couldn't fix the problem and ended up calling Samsung. Turns out this also "has those issues" as I was told about my previous Samsung Blu-ray player. I managed to get the representative to send me a shipping label (which I never received). When I called back to discuss the shipping label they said I didn't have a permanent repair request THEN I was told the warranty was expired even though I have an invoice from Revain! She couldn't explain why the warranty was expired even though I bought it 6 months ago and it has a 1 year warranty. I even emailed my repair forms to the rep's email address and she explained that it was not a warranty case and that she "didn't know why he said that". I am stunned and MADE with Samsung. Today I bought a new phone (I had a Galaxy SII COMPLETELY buggy), listed my mediocre Samsung TV on Craigslist, contacted my attorney and filed a formal complaint with the BBB. I WILL get some sort of refund for everything I went through with them. Save yourself the inevitable headache of calling Samsung customer service and stay away from the company entirely.
