I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Elephant-level satisfaction; no regrets about purchasing this tool so far. PS: Hdr 4k 60p is smoothly played back @ 2.4GHz.

Pros
  • Little, silent, and with two HDMI inputs
Cons
  • All felt-tip pens are different in flavor and hue.

Reliable product for all occasions, quality on par.

The model is generally satisfactory, and both the picture and sound quality are top-notch. It may be suggested that you buy it, but before you do, consider where the sound will be sent. You can send it to a TV (the worst-case scenario, although you'll lose a lot of quality), a receiver with acoustics, or a home theater system.

Pros
  • Small, supports a wide variety of codecs, and can send sound through an HDMI connection (to a TV, receiver, or portable speakers). The Dolby Vision icon appeared as soon as the TV was connected.
Cons
  • First, unlike the TV (which begins virtually instantly), starting movies via the home network (at least over WiFi, at least by wire) has traditionally been difficult. The tunes begin as usual. Second, it does not work with 5GHz wifi. 3. a limited selection of software (obviously not designed with 2022 in mind); I just use YouTube; maybe someone else watches Netflix; I can't justify the cost. Since there is no "app store" per se, it is unclear how to acquire these programs. Fourth, I don't find it easy to use the remote when watching.

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Got pros: Great model! Everything works quickly, including the download speed of Blu-ray discs, and it works just as quickly with programs that are built-in. Having these drawbacks: I would like to be able to download applications, but there may not be enough screen space on the front panel, and the overall dimensions do not compare well to those of its siblings.

To say that this is an understatement is an understatement indeed! The PLAYER shop is notorious for being a *! When I returned the item the following day, however, they refused to refund the money. Suing the player for a total of nine months! Only via the court's intervention was the money returned! tossed me to the side and left me alone with the player (Store) to deal with the situation! If you believe that your consumer rights have been infringed in any way, I strongly encourage you to…

Pros
  • Device of really low quality! if you get what I'm trying to say.
Cons
  • Disks freeze, some do not see.

In general, I believe that this is an outstanding model for the price. The most important thing is to make sure to utilize a high-quality 4K HDMI cable: Ninety percent of output problems are caused by a faulty cable (I myself at first sinned that it does not play 4k 60 fps HDR without transcoding to SDR), and the other ten percent are caused by other factors. Some pros: Plays virtually everything from optical discs and USB drives, has a superb picture, a quick start and response time, is…

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

Sony's universal and all-purpose player that lacks copywriting restrictions. Included but not limited to support for all contemporary CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, 4K Ultra HD, and SACD formats. It plays a wide variety of music formats, including FLAC and DSD files without any issues, as well as any MP4 or AVI or MKV or H.264 or H.265 (HDR) file that is ripped from a flash drive. Both the S/PDIF-coax output and the HDMI output produce unrestricted 24 bit/192 khz sound. The player is quite audiophile in…

Pros
  • One of the very few kinds of player that comes equipped with two HDMI outputs! One for the video signal, and the other for the audio signal to be sent to the receiver. Because of this, it is possible to keep the receiver turned off and not drive video through it while it is in journey to the TV without worrying about causing any damage to the image. This is an exceptionally convenient feature. Alternately, you might use an older receiver that does not support Dolby Atmos or DTS:X as a standalone device. Since the player is able to output audio in a decoded PCM format to the HDMI port, it is compatible with any older receiver that supports HDMI or S/PDIF Coaxial connections. This means that everything will function, even if your receiver only has codecs for DVD discs. The amazing video image processor that is included in this player is the primary selling point; it is the same processor that is included in OPPO's flagship High-End players. It's not merely an interpolation of DVD and Blu-ray resolutions to 4K for today's televisions. DVD quality is brought up to the level of 1080P by internal image processing algorithms, while Blu-Ray quality that has a good bit rate is almost as good as 4K resolution. The vast majority of inexpensive players do not possess any sort of excellent video processor. If you have a 4K television, the player will work wonderfully for you. On the other hand, an older DVD collection will still look fantastic when played on a normal Full HD TV.
Cons
  • There is no output in the optical form. Wi-Fi antenna inside. The built-in 220v is a nice feature of the remote power supply. It is quite inconvenient because the connector for the flash drive is sunken into the front panel of the device. There is no USB connector on the back of the device, therefore you cannot attach a USB flash drive to it via an extension cable. Extremely strong jitter while playing back audio using either HDMI or S/PDIF. The output has a dreadful crumpled chewed sound, just like the majority of players, despite all of the openness and compatibility with music and Hi-Res. When watching movies, this is irrelevant because the level of jitter that occurs there is already set by the jitter that occurs in the receiver and the decoder or DSP processor that it contains. But there is no sound produced when the signal is fed into a S/PDIF-DAC or receiver that does not have built-in DSP processing. The sole and youngest player produced by Sony that is available for purchase in the year 2022. I would want to see more models added to the lineup, particularly one that sounds like the Oppo-205.

Awesome player but can't configure smart apps

This UHD player works great. Easy setup and great picture. What I really like is that it loads almost instantly. You put in a disc and start reading right away. The only thing I don't like is that the apps are limited. You can't add something like Apple Plus TV or Disney Plus. Otherwise, I highly recommend this player.

Pros
  • Blu-ray player and recorder
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Easy hookup, tricky setup

Setting up this DVD player was extremely easy hardware wise (ie connecting to my TV). As far as software, picture quality settings and screen size are concerned, you have to play around with the settings on different DVDs. SMART settings are not very user friendly. Again, you'll have to play around with the settings and it will take some time to get used to.

Pros
  • Blu-ray player
Cons
  • Some little things

Lives up to its reputation and spec ratings

I do a lot of research on devices before I buy them, especially at this price point. So I read and looked at many reviews before deciding to buy. I had an old Sony Blu-Ray player that worked fine, but it didn't upscale my standard DVDs very well and wouldn't give me the best result on my new 4K TV. I looked at all the popular UHD/4K players and the UBP-X700 is one of the cheapest. Its characteristics compare favorably with even more expensive devices. There are two HDMI outputs, one is for…
