I have run in 5 degree weather and 50 degree weather with the same hat and it keeps my head and ears in perfect comfort. I don't understand how it works, but it works. This is not a good cap for cold weather when you are not active. But when you move (work, run, sweat) it just does its job. I wear it as a base layer under a heavier winter hat and it works great for that too. I have a big head and it barely covers the bottom of my ears. For the price I'll let it slide. Also, the logo looks really cool. I returned to buy a second one. I highly recommend this cap.
