Not sure what year the tray design was changed but my 2018 has the factory screw in the correct position on the back of the tray. The supplied hex bolt will not work as the factory bolt is not machine threaded. I used a 2" wood thread screw that looked like the factory thread. It screwed in easily with a long screwdriver. I disassembled the dash but it's not necessary. You just peel the rubber off the bottom of the compartment and a Remove the screw on the back of the bay, use the supplied spacer with the longer screw and you're done, I see where double-sided tape would also fit.
