UPDATE: I contacted Barton direct and 24 hours later I had an exchange on the way. Customer support was very helpful and responded quickly. Based on the customer service alone I would say Barton is a company to go to! I like this group a lot, they have a lot of potential. I've had it on my watch for less than 48 hours. There is a sharp bit on the loose strap that scratched my wrist, I believe where they melted it but never cleaned it. The fibers in the free and fixed loops will wear out and look horrible after just a few days of use. I only wore a t-shirt and sweatshirt part of the day, so it doesn't look like she wore a Carhart jacket or anything. In any case, it is impossible to wear it in its current state. I can't keep this thing digging into my oily soft skin for hours. I plan on trying to smooth out the sharp edges on the loose loop and try to clean up the fraying fibers. Although I don't think I need it. The watch strap should not have any sharp edges where it comes in contact with the skin. The fibers should not crumble after a day of use. For €25 I expected more.
