My son has a bunk bed that is very close to the extendable ceiling fan. My husband and I both hit our heads on it and I decided to replace it with a fan and didn't have to worry about banging my head on the blades. I just recently purchased and installed my 19.2" by 42" when using the fan chandelier with my modern ceiling fan. It also has light and I love the modern design and vibrancy it brings to my dining room. It has 3 color changing options including warmer light to white light. It also has 6 adjustable speeds and a retractable chandelier fan that is very quiet even on a high setting and can spin clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the season i. use it. I love that it has a remote control that makes it easy to control the ceiling fan, as well as a 1, 2, or 4 hour timer function. It also comes with a wall mount for the remote control, as well as 4" and 8" floor poles depending on your ceiling height. I used 4" as my ceiling is lower in my kid's room. The fan came with installation instructions for reference. I assembled it in a short amount of time, less than an hour and according to the instructions the wiring was easy as was the option to install the receiver for the remote control so that it is occluded by a fan Overall this is a well designed, attractive and durable smart ceiling fan that I am sure my family and I will enjoy for years to come .
