The packaging of this product is excellent. There is a small base to hold the crystal in place and a compact lid. Easy to open and use. The last brand I used was in a pink plastic bottle with a screw top. Just a few months later, the crystal broke off and one day flew out of my hands onto the ground, shattering into useless fragments. Waste. As these crystals can last for years, product protective packaging is important. I hope this one lasts. I may eventually need to wrap a rubber band around the base of the crystal for support, a clever idea suggested by another reviewer. I will never go back to pore clogging chemicals again. I love these crystals. Update January 21st: I got irritation under my arms and stopped using this crystal. I don't know if the rash is caused by something in the environment (toxins around construction sites) or by this particular brand. I've used two other brands for years with no problems.
