This is the perfect glass surface for spinning high power gyros. I recommend this particular lens because the curvature is the correct amount of curvature needed for a rotating surface. I was looking at an Eisco Labs double concave glass lens, 75mm with a 50cm focal length, and it was too "flat" to really matter for gyros. The shorter the focal length of a concave lens, the more curvature you have. Also, this lens is polished while other lenses I've seen are polished. So if you're looking for a glass surface to spin on, this is a good choice.
