A great addition to your network

Our hunting club has 2 such devices. One of them is a block of flats, which is located just outside the window above. Our country is very hilly, with over 300 feet of elevation gain. The presence of the camera at the top provides greater range. In our experience, altitude change is more of a limiting factor than distance to your signal strength. Our second device is on the top of the highest hill, its function is to act as a repeater for all the cameras on the top of the hill which would otherwise not be able to send a signal back to the camp. Both devices are not cameras. Because of their location, no shooting is required, and these devices cost about half the price of the camera version. Due to the remote location, we use an additional rechargeable battery for our repeater. It contains 6 D cells, so together with the 4 D in the device itself, the battery life is well over 2 months. Battery life is tracked and sent to the home unit in daily reports. A unit in a camp does not need an external unit, obviously because it is often checked when the card is pulled out to view. The Cuddelink system is great and best of all: no mobile phone bills! We read reviews where people complain about the battery life. People forget that these devices, whether they are cameras or home devices, are also radios. Do your walkie-talkies or mobile phones last 2 months? Of course not. The transmission of data requires electricity. You'll be using multiple batteries, but for what cameras do, this is a steal! We got lucky with Energizer Max. Buy some external battery packs, set up your network and enjoy! SNAFU hunt camp in New York
