Review on Sorel Youth Flurry Winter Tropic Boys' Shoes by Sheppard Priest

I've had a pair of Sorels for 12 years now and they hold up well. So I decided it made sense to buy a pair for my kid. Apparently, Sorel believes that when it comes to children, you can skimp on quality. First, a small branch made a hole in the trunk (normal game, walking around). I tried ironing the patch to keep the water from dripping (uncomfortable place so it didn't hold). Now, about a month later, the bootleg tightening loop has broken and the boot cannot be protected from snow at the top. It's January and this year it was the boys. For the first time in 8 years I had to buy boots again in the middle of winter. Really terrible quality, I'm so disappointed.
