Review on πŸ’» Duex Portable Monitor: Upgraded Laptop Companion with 12.5" Display, 1080P Resolution and Lightweight Design in White by Terry Higgins

So versatile and useful!

I already have two large secondary monitors connected to my laptop, so why would I need another smaller secondary display? Because I'm so used to extra screens that my laptops feel inadequate when traveling. This Duex Lite screen is just amazing! Since I switch between two laptops when I travel, instead of mounting the screen on both laptops, I used it in portrait mode, standing alone next to my computer. It's very handy to have the page so close in portrait mode! Now for the product details. First, it was incredibly easy to set up. I've read installation instructions that basically just peel the sticker off the magnets that are already where they should be and stick it on your laptop. (I wish there was an extra set of magnetic stickers, but before I use them I'll buy similar ones for my other laptop - then I can just switch between them and stick them on both). But so far I haven't installed it on my laptop. it was even easier for me. I connected the power cord to the Duex Lite and plugged the other end into the computer. Which one. was. That. It only took a second and the screen came alive. I pressed F8 on my laptop to add it as an extended screen, then went into the display settings to change the view to portrait and I'm off and on - the easiest electronics setup I've had in years! All of this - the screen and the screen holder - is incredibly light. There are two tiny buttons on the edge/back of the screen to adjust the backlight and all the brightness/colour/contrast settings etc. It's worth every penny!
