The product comes first with an empty battery! While most items you buy with the battery installed will have a piece of paper or plastic between the battery and the coils in the battery compartment, this item does not. They have a note saying you need to replace the battery which just shows what they know without taking the small extra step of letting the battery they sent drain. The product is made of very cheap plastic and thin metal material in my opinion. If you have a case around your phone such as an outer box or just a thin case that needs to be removed. The phone holder attaches to your phone, but when you try to take a photo, it can move in angle or tilt slightly. Finally, the fully extended arm feels weak. It's clear you don't want anything heavy, but it's so light you feel you have to pray it doesn't break or bend under the weight of your phone. This item might have been considered worth its price, and I stress might, if sold in a discount cart at a dollar store.
