Review on Optimized Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Pro-Argin Toothpaste by Tykesha Boothe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I don't recommend everyone to do it like I do, but it worked for me!

First I want to print a disclaimer here that I do not recommend anyone to do this. I had a broken crown in August, had it replaced at the dentist and immediately had to keep coming back due to extreme tooth sensitivity (never before at this dentist who I have used and trusted for years). It hurt to bite food at any temperature - not necessarily EXTREMELY hot or cold, just any temperature that wasn't the same as what was in my mouth to touch my tooth etc. I called the dentist to let him know that I had had problems and he told me that the tooth was "giving up" and he would prefer if I decided to have a root canal. Since I do NOT have dental insurance, the root canal should have cost over $4000 and we expected my son to have knee surgery in a few weeks and we had to pay for that with our high deductible too. So I started looking for toothpastes that would "bring me in the new year" so I could delay my root canal treatment. This material appeared, I bought it, and although it took several weeks to receive it, I immediately began to use it. It took me about a week to notice anything, following the directions on the box exactly. They are in English on one side of the sheet and in Thai on the other side. Perfect English. Now after using it twice a day for a few weeks I can report that I am now only sensitive to extreme heat and cold foods and it is a pain that subsides within seconds of the tooth adapting to the change adjusted . Now I can chew both hard and soft foods with this side and I like that. Order another pack before it runs out!
