Purchased to remove excess water from hair, not dry it completely. It definitely helps. I used to have to attach a rubber band and towel to the end to keep it on my head. Now with this one I just twist the knob and I'm done. I really like it and I'm glad I bought it because it's a lot easier to wash my hair with. You may need to twist it tight if you have short hair. Even when it feels damp I can use it over and over again and it still rinses excess water out of my hair. And it doesn't fall around your neck. I recommend it to anyone who wants to remove excess water; If you want your hair to dry completely, this is not for you.
