I’m a dentist assistant and have some knowledge to used pliers.I ordered because recently my 11 years old son got he’s braces and 2 times we have to run to the orthodontist to trim the wire.my son had pretty bad sore mouth because the wire.Ordered and was able to trim and save my son thru the pain and suffering.Great tool to have if you know how to use it,recommended it 💯 %

I never like writing a "bad" review but I do not recommend these to anyone. I have two kids with braces and if you've dealt with them you know the wires absolutely HAVE to be cut sometimes. These broke the very first time we used them. I say broke literally, the tip of the plyers literally broke in half and fell into my daughter's mouth, she managed to spit it out but talk about dangerous!They did refund my money so at least there's that but I was beyond disappointed in this purchase.

i bought this bc my wire was sticking out in the back and i was out of town for awhile. it clipped the long piece right off and was able to catch the wire so i didnt have to dig for it in my mouth.

Used this for a braces emergency. Just got it in used it on the top wire that was poking me worked just fine. Then used it right after on the bottoms wire and heard the snap but that wasn’t the wire cutting it was the tool itself snapping a piece of as shown 🤦🏻‍♂️ Guess this thing is not very durable

Giving it 4 stars because the packaging it came in is weak and damaged; not clean. Had to soak and hand-clean before I was comfortable using it.

My Son has braces, the dentist said "just use nail clippers to trim any bothersome wires ", well there is no way to get even finger nail pliers in the back part of anyone's mouth or even to cut wire, we tried & it is impossible, this tool is a must have for anyone with braces. My Son's braces were cutting the inside of his cheek up, this is the only tool that solved that issue.

First off, WE ARE NOT ORTHODONTISTS! The absolute only reason I ordered this is I am anti wax and my wires were poking me like crazy! It is very awkward trying to keep your mouth relaxed like someone else is working in your mouth, but try to, also, get the pincher end as close to the bracket as you can for a flush cut! These worked amazingly! I am VERY happy with my purchase I wish I had gotten them sooner like prior to COVID to save me trips to see my ortho just for a trim. This is worth…

It's so bad! It does not cut orthodontic wires. I bought it to snip the ends of my wires for my braces, since it was poking me really bad and my orthodontist was closed for 2 weeks. Waste of money, since it doesn't even cut. It's not sharp enough.

I’ve had some poking from my braces wire for a while to the point it has been cutting into the tissue of my cheek this was a life saver Mann I am so relieved

Great little tool nice and sharp, awesome for clipping a rogue brace wire. Has saved us from a trip to the orthodontist or two when a brace wire has started poking in a cheek because the teeth have moved.Super easy to use and it holds on to the clipped piece so it doesn't fall into the mouth.

Very hard to cut with it. So huge that I have to scratch myself with this appliance before I'm able to cut something. Doesnt cut close to the tooth,leaving a long tail of wire that cut my tongue badly.
