I was looking for a new, more natural facial cleanser that would compare to my Philosophy cleanser. I liked that the product said it cleanses, tones and exfoliates which is why I bought it. Unfortunately, this product does not remove makeup residue from the skin. At first I thought I wasn't using enough so I washed my face twice but the makeup still wouldn't come off. The next night I washed my face with it 3 times just to see what would happen and it literally didn't even remove any of the makeup I was wearing. I'm not a heavy makeup user and in fact I had to remove makeup with witch hazel which is a lot cheaper and works great. Unfortunately, the pump stopped working on the second day, but it could just be a defective pump, which happens every now and then. I gave this product two stars because at least my face is a little softer and more delicate.
