Review on Samsung B2230 22 Inch Widescreen Monitor with 1920X1080 Resolution and HD Display by William Eldridge

I bought this monitor on September 16, 2011 for $110 and it worked fine for 3 months until a big pixel problem took up 3/4 of the screen. Where there was once a beautiful image, stationary vertical lines now appear. My main issue is that it was bought in the US and brought to me in Brazil where I live by a friend and I am at loggerheads with the need to fix it or buy a new one here. I'm sure the maintenance will cost more than I paid for it and the taxes to buy a new one are crazy
