My natural hair color is dark brown. For years I dyed my hair black, and instead of just touching up new hair growth, I dyed all of my hair every time (although I clearly knew it was wrong, I wanted the blackest hair. A year and a half ago, I decided to do hair bleach and dye it red.Now on red hair I only apply Hi Lift color to new growth and for the rest of the hair I use Artic Fox as a color refresher.Even though I try to take better care of my hair every time I've washed them and air dried they were very frizzy and even when I used a flat iron you could see my hair was frizzy. Product can help with damaged ends and frizzy hair. My local barber was charging $150 for a treatment I did myself wanted to try it. IT WORKS! I colored my hair before the treatment and now the color doesn't change. Disappears as fast as before. My hair is when it is to be smoothed out, as smooth as possible and still My ends were badly damaged and need trimming, now they look very good. My hair looks very smooth, feels so soft and now I hardly have to brush it. I followed the instructions for T except for the turnaround time. I left the product for an hour. I used to color my hair and read that it is recommended for people who color their hair. The product smells strongly of coconut/WD40 when applied (this is its only downside). Another thing I've done (it's not necessary, but I've read it works) is not washing my hair for at least three days, like a keratin treatment. I just washed it today and let it air dry and it's so manageable and doesn't frizz. This product does not permanently straighten the hair, but it does reduce frizz and help hold the shape. I am very happy with this purchase. PD: I live in Puerto Rico where it's always humid and my hair doesn't frizz at all.
