Before I start, I should add that I'm a huge Chromebook fan. I have a Chromebook as my main computer. I bought this and another computer for my siblings as Christmas gifts and now they think I have favorites. Why? Because another Chromebook feels better and faster despite the same price (the Acer Chromebook 11, if you want to be specific). This ASUS Chromebook looks cool, but the moment you pick it up and feel it flex under its own weight, you know it's too cheap. I was hoping to give both a similar device, just in a different color. nope There are better Chromebooks in this price range on WAAAAY. Avoid unless you see it at a big discount. I wouldn't recommend this particular Chromebook unless the price drops to $120. Update: My brother has been using it daily in high school for a year and it still works. I bought him a better computer and this red Asus is the best computer I take with me when I don't feel like taking my expensive laptop (pixel book) anywhere. He's doing his job, I can't deny that. I still think there are better options (especially now in 2019) but a year of heavy use has proven this little red computer works well in a pinch.
