I WANTED TO LOVE IT. i really wanted to Because it's SO helpful. Unfortunately, it's not designed to last a long time. Once you install it, everything looks fine. It lasts (for a while) and is extremely useful. I work outside the car for about 4-10 hours in the car so I have to make my car something like my living space. I have some cool accessories and gadgets for my car and I really wanted this to be one of them. In the beginning it worked great. The table is a super cool touch that's also useful. I usually have to rummage through my passenger seat or other crap-filled cup holders to find things like toothpicks, tissues, a flashlight, etc., but the table is great for storing things without tipping over under the weight. Of course, don't put anything too heavy on it. Although strange, sometimes the table can get in the way. It would be much more comfortable if driving a truck or SUV due to the larger driver's seat, but for me in my '07 Mazda3 it needs a bit of adjustment so the table doesn't bang against my shift knob. I like turning it a certain way so the table goes over the cup holder and I can slide it out if needed. Unfortunately, I think maybe I twisted it too tight (user error), and the adhesive holding the little pads that roll into the car cup holder to keep them from slipping just ended up tearing off. Gorilla tape pads and sticky gums, but I'd like to see this problem already solved in the original product. A small but annoying problem, because she has already left the base 3 times, I have to come up with something good. So just know it can happen with this item. I think 4 stars is more than fair. I haven't seen anything here to replace and I don't want to, but I have to fix it myself. It's really well made, except for the little rubber feet.
