Overall this is a great product. Pros: full articulation of each part so it works like a real one. 2 batteries last about 30 minutes less on average when driving and not digging. Common connection so that higher capacity batteries are available. I've spent about 20 hours with my kids and this sandbox toy still works as always. Cons: Not enough power for digging, works for loose sand but even broken soil seems to overload it. Surprisingly, the skid steer control system does not use directional controls. Other things: you hear a click when you overload your hand and this is a workaround that does what they do. While it's not bad to hear that the click is a wearing part (think of a clutch on a car), it eventually wears out and just locks up. Compressed air is the only way to get rid of sand. I'd like to see a metal gear upgrade kit available in the $50 range to make it the most accessible hobbyist like the higher tier Hulia.
